Only lean prosciutto

Würstel arrives from the cold, northern Teutonic lands and traditionally amalgamates lesser cuts of pork with other types of meat. Its name, meaning ‘sausage’, reflects these origins. Originally a simple but ingenious solution, wisdom from a time when food waste was unheard of, Würstel has become a wholly industrial product in modern times. Cheap fast food has taken over markets and palates, with smoking often a trick to disguise a defective product.
